Screening checks*

New to the industry? Get help with your checks

NDIS Worker Screening Check

Contact TLC before applying to confirm the employer details needed. Check the WA Government NDIS Worker Screening guidance for identity documents, the current fee and application steps. Keep your application reference and tell TLC when you receive an outcome.

Working with Children Check

Ask TLC whether your proposed role is child-related work and which category applies. Check the WA Government Working with Children guidance for eligibility, exemptions, identity documents and the current fee. Complete the application with the required employer details and endorsement, and keep your receipt or reference.

You can apply while waiting: select “Applied — waiting for outcome” or “Not yet applied — I need guidance” below. Your licence and First Aid Certificate are still required. TLC must confirm the clearances required for your role before you start relevant work.
